What’s better than a secret elopement? A secret elopement with a mouth-watering menu, of course.
While celebrating with my friends Clay & Shauna last night, I devoured a three-course plated meal that was aesthetically beautiful, full of flavor, and had my meat-eating counterparts suffering from Order Envy. Vegetarians can sometimes get the shaft when it comes to pre-selected menus but this was certainly not the case at Hotel Rialto. And because I simply can’t stop thinking about it, I’ll be setting out to recreate the meal for my mother’s birthday dinner tomorrow evening and will share my success (or failure!) with you here.
In the meantime, review this menu and cross your fingers that Chef will return my email and share his amazing recipe with me. And if I can make it even half as good as the original, stay tuned for some recipes!
And be prepared to turn your most hearty meat-eater into a tree-hugging hippie begging for more vegetables.
