A Day’s Plate

I get the feeling that a few of you think I’m some sort of clean eating fanatic and although I’m not entirely sure I would rule that judgment out, I do want you to know that I’m not perfect in any sense of the word! I truly believe that what I eat on a daily basis is completely attainable for you, or anyone else.

If you had told me 60 pounds ago that I needed to eat/exercise the way I do today, I would have laughed in your face! It’s taken me time to build the healthy habits and palette I enjoy today.

But as you’ll see from this Day’s Plate, you might find that you already eat better than I do!

Smoked Turkey Wrap (2 oz. TJ’s nitrite-free smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, 1 tbsp Bryanna’s Smoked Chipotle Pepper Dressing)
1 tbsp Hummus with 1/4 TJ’s Middle Eastern Flatbread

I wanted frozen yogurt so I ran the 2 miles to get there, had my indulgence, and ran home!

      Hi Jill! Where from Canada do you come from? We’re originally from Victoria, BC.

      And from the looks of all the running photos on your blog, it would be me that couldn’t keep up with you! I’m not much of a runner but am unfortunately training for a half marathon.

      So if you’re looking for a pitiful running partner (uh…10 minute miles with a 4-mile maximum), than I’m your gal! 😉
